At Helsby Club, there is something for everyone. The Ladies Section is a vibrant, friendly group who warmly welcome all new members and guests to the Club.

When you join the Ladies Section, you choose how you want to play your golf. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

The Ladies section is run by the Ladies Committee and members are eligible to join after 3 years.

If You Enjoy Competitive Golf

You can take part in:
* Club Majors, Medals and Stableford competitions
* Club Singles and Doubles Knockouts are held throughout the year
* Team competitions
* Weekly competitions are played on Wednesdays, Saturdays/Sundays
* Representing the Club in Ladies A or B Teams, Friendly Teams, or Mixed Teams, competing against other local clubs

If You Prefer a More Relaxed Approach

There are also many ways to enjoy golf socially:
* Fun competitions for ladies
* Mixed fun competitions during the summer
* Lady Captains Away Day
* Social golf with friends

There is no pressure to play in anything you don’t wish to simply come along and enjoy your golf.

New to Golf?

The Ladies Section runs a very successful Women into Golf programme for:
* Complete beginners
* Those returning to the game
* Casual golfers who want to enjoy social golf
