Helsby Golf Club encourages its Junior members and is very fortunate to have a good group of Juniors involved in the club. We very much welcome new Junior members to the club and we are especially keen to see more Girl Juniors involved. This is the first time Helsby has participated in this challenge, aimed at encouraging juniors to measure their skills against defined tasks and then putting in the practice to develop and improve their skills. Tasks include long shots - pitching - bunkers - chipping and putting.
Nick Cunniffe was the highest scorer of 21 players who took part - he scored 44 out of 50 and is currently 3rd in the country at the 12-17 age group.
