Dear Chris,
I'm writing on behalf of the Shepherds Inn Golf Society which had the pleasure of visiting Helsby Golf Club last Friday. I would like to say thank you for a fantastic day. Not only was it a great course to play, but the food and hospitality we received before, during and after was second to none.
I would also like to pay special attention to your club steward Alan. He made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble, which made the whole day very easy for me especially. I would like you to pass on our thanks to him if you could.
It's quite rare that we have every member of the society asking when are we going back before we've even left the car park. Thanks again to you and your team for making it such an enjoyable day and we look forward to returning next year.

Letter of thanks from Daisy Hill Golf Society
Dear Chris,
What can I say about your club, members, staff and above all the totally wonderful golf course?
Having been fortunate to play the course on Sunday 190709, I and my fellow society members cannot speak highly enough about the treatment we received during our time at the club. In fact the good treatment started prior to our arrival, due to us being delayed following the result of an accident on the M56. I made a call to the pro shop explaining our problem, upon which I was told to rest assured that we would still be allowed to play, and that our tee time would just be put back.
Once on site, my personal joy began from the 1st tee,( it always helps when you hit the perfect Iron shot from the 1st) I would at this point ask you to pass onto your green staff our compliments. The tees were in excellent condition, fairways felt like lush carpets under foot, and the greens, wow the greens, the staff should take great pride in those, they were beautiful.
The course in general is set out wonderfully, incorporating the trees and hazards in a manner that provide a challenging but fair test of your golf skills. Of course, Im telling you things that you are already aware of, but I can't apologise for this, I just needed to put down, mine and my fellow society members feelings.
It doesn't end their. Once in the club house, we were invited to take our places for lunch. Again on this subject, the food and service were excellent, with very friendly staff.
We then took our seats in the lounge, and proceeded to enjoy The Open. We were made to feel welcome by all the members, and asked our opinion of the course by quite a few, at all times feeling relaxed and not out of place. So on that note, I would be very grateful if you could pass on our comments to all concerned, and would like to request, that if there are any free sundays available, you could keep our society in mind.
We so look forward to coming back to play, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Letter of thanks from West Hoyle Ladies Society
Dear Chris,
Just a quick note to thank you for a lovely day at the club on Wednesday 13th May. All the members agreed it was one of the best "Captain's Day Out" they have had (even though it rained on the front nine).
Can you convey our thanks to Alan and Al for a great meal and to your President Frank for his hospitality.
I am sure my husband would enjoy the course as it is one he has never played so I hope to return in the summer.
