CHINESE EVENING 27th January 2008
Robyn Jarvis received her own special wheelchair at the Chinese Evening, after which she made a lovely 'thank you' speech
25th WHEELCHAIR CLASSIC 5th June 2008
The club's 25th Anniversary Wheelchair Classic truly was a 'classic'.
SUMMER SOLSTICE CHALLENGE 27th June 2008
Chris Stott & Tim Carter completed seven rounds of golf in one day to raise over £3,000 for the Appeal.
Two more powered wheelchairs were presented - to Steven Higginson and Ashley Worth - at the 2008 Open.
PETER ALLISS MASTERS 6/7th October 2008
The club presented another powered wheelchair at the 2008 Peter Alliss Masters Tournament at Elie in Scotland. Members also fared well in the competitions.
PRESENTATION 27th February 2008
Steven Bebe received his very own chair on Wednesday 27th February 2008 in a presentation at the Neuro Muscular Centre in Winsford.
MOORE FOUNDATION 26th June 2008
Ben Callender received his powered wheelchair in a presentation arranged by the PWA but funded by the Moore Foundation.
PETER ALLISS SPORTSMANS -14th July 2008
Honorary member of Helsby Golf Club Peter Alliss and his wife Jackie were special guests at the Sportspersons Dinner tonight.
MEGA CHARITY EVENT 6th August 2008
The MEGA Charity Event saw two chairs presented to Megan Orr and Chelsea Copeland.
BLACK & WHITE 6th December 2008
Members and their guests enjoyed the Black & White Evening where a chair was presented to Henry Robertson and another presentation to Bert Dyson following his retirement as Appeal Secretary.
