Helsby Golf Club welcomed its new members at an Induction Evening on 8th April.

Since the beginning of the year we have had a record 26 new members join the club, a mixture of existing and new golfers and a New Members Induction evening was held on a glorious Spring evening.

Captain, Lady Captain, Captain elect and committee members welcomed the new members on the putting green and then there was a 9 hole competition followed by refreshments in the clubhouse. New member Bill Smith was on the winning team and was presented with his first prize at the club!

The opportunity to play the course and meet existing members was much appreciated by the new members and several commented that the friendly reputation of the club and the great course attracted them to Helsby.
