Helsby Golf Club has an active membership of around 550 members. It is a very friendly club and we welcome new applications from all sections - Men's, Ladies, Juniors.
Full membership - giving year round access to all of the club's facilities with unlimited golf - costs just over £15 per week.
Deals for Junior, Student and Younger membership start at just over £2 per week.

Membership Information
DEAL 1: FULL MEMBERSHIP
Both Ladies and Gentlemen are classed as full members of the club providing they pay the full members annual subscription of £808. The subscription year is 1st April to 31st March; you pay a pro rata subscription if you join part way through this period.
Our current joining fee is £1,000 which can be spread over a period of 10 years at £100 per year. Spouses of members are not required to pay a joining fee.
DEAL 2: 15 MONTHS MEMBERSHIP FOR 12 MONTHS SUBSCRIPTION
We currently have an offer available to new members who start on the 1st January, to pay the first year's joining fee of £100 plus an annual subscription of £808 for their first year’s subscription which will cover them until the following 31st March giving 15 months membership for 12 months subscription.
DEAL 3: 12 MONTHS INTRODUCTORY MEMBERSHIP
Join for one calendar year and pay the annual subscription fee of £808 with NO JOINING FEE.
At the conclusion of this 12 month period of membership, the only membership category available would be that of a Full member.
DEAL 4: 2 MONTH TASTER MEMBERSHIP
EXPERIENCED GOLFERS
You can now join Helsby Golf Club for a two month, risk free taster period where you will be able to play unlimited golf with the exception of official club competitions. In addition, you will have the use of all club facilities and be entitled to the members' bar discount.
All this for only £160 - and it's fully redeemable if you subsequently join the club!
NEW GOLFERS
You can have a course of lessons from the Professional prior to starting your two month, risk free taster period. Again, all club facilities and bar discount will be included.
All this for only £210 - with £160 redeemable if you subsequently join the club!
You can only take advantage of Taster Membership once and, at the conclusion of the 2 month period, the only option of membership available would be as a Full member.
DEAL 5: JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP (under 18 years old)
Junior membership is available to those under the age of 18.
If one parent is a member of the club, the subscription rate is 50%. If both parents are members of the club, Junior membership is free up to the age of 15.

DEAL 6: YOUNGER MEMBERSHIP (age 18 up to and including 29))
We recognise the special pressures on younger persons as they strive to balance golf with their careers, young families and getting on the property ladder.
Men and women in the age range 18 to 29 inclusive can now enjoy membership of the club - with full member benefits such as bar discount, members' reduction for visitor fees and full social activities.- with reduced subscription plus joining fee* as follows:-
18 to 21 years old £242 per year (30% of Full Membership)
22 to 25 years old £404 per year (50% of Full Membership)
26 to 29 years old £606 per year (75% of Full Membership)
*The joining fee is applicable (as in the Full Member details) unless the younger member has been a junior member.
DEAL 7: STUDENT MEMBERSHIP (ages 18 up to and including 29)
Student membership is available to those in the age range 18 up to and including 29 who are in full time education and living away from home.
Annual subscriptions are as follows:
18 to 21 years old £121 per year (50% of Younger Membership)
22 to 25 years old £202 per year (50% of Younger Membership)
26 to 29 years old £303 per year (50% of Younger Membership)
The joining fee is applicable (as in the Full Member details) unless the Student member has been a Junior member.
DEAL 8: SPECIAL DEAL FOR FAMILIES
- Partners of Full Members become Social Members of the club in their own right
- Membership for children aged 15 and below is now free if both parents and guardians are Full Members
- Where only one parent or guardian is a Full Member, the reduction for children aged 15 and below is 50%
- No joining fee for younger members
DEAL 9: ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP FOR SPORTS PERSONS
We recognise that for many active sports people, golf is not currently their primary sport but it may become more so.
Associate Membership is now available to existing members of local sports clubs, who are either existing golfers or are willing to take an introductory course of lessons, and provides a number of benefits:-
- Play unlimited social golf for 6 months of the year (Oct - Mar or Apr - Sep)
- Enter club competitions if there are vacancies on competition start sheets three days before the competition
- Share in all member benefits such as bar discount, members' reduction for visitor fees and full social activities
- Pay for only 6 months membership
Cost Apr - Sep: £100 + 50% of Full Membership subscription
Cost Oct - Mar: £100 + 28% of Full Membership subscription
