Compared with many golf clubs, Helsby has a fairly relaxed attitude to dress provided members and visitors are tidy.
To maintain standards for everyone's benefit, here are some guidelines as to which items of dress are deemed unacceptable:
On the Golf Course
Blue Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, Collarless Shirts including T-Shirts, Soft Collared Shirts worn outside trousers, Trainers, Shorts (unless Tailored Shorts and worn with either White Sports Socks, or Knee Length Socks of any colour - see diagram).
For Ladies, Sun Tops & Short Shorts
In the Clubhouse
Blue Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, Collarless Shirts including T-Shirts, Trainers, Shorts (men only), Caps and Headgear of any form, Waterproof Clothing, any sort of Outdoor Coat, and the absence of Shoes or Men´s Shoes worn without Socks.
Mobile Phones
Except in an extreme emergency, Mobile Phones are not permitted in the Clubhouse or on the Course.
