The Winter League is a Four Ball Better Ball Match play competition. Each pair plays all the other pairs in their league on alternate Sundays between October and February with a break over the Christmas period. Points are accumulated for wins and matches halved and the winner of each league goes forward into a knock out stage played during March.
There are four leagues played on alternate Sunday mornings and four more in the afternoon. Each league has up to 10 pairs. The league in which pairs are placed depends on the total of the two players handicaps. The cost of entry is £7 per couple.
