Black & White Evening, 2nd Dec 2006
Lee Cartwright - aged 9 and from Leak - and Sam Taylor - aged 7 and from Winsford - were presented with their new powered wheelchairs at the Black & White Evening. A very enjoyable evening was made all the more special by two lovely young boys and their parents.

British Open at Hoylake
Peter Alliss took time out at the British Open on Wednesday 19th July to present two more powered wheelchairs to Georgina Campbel and Michael Pill. Club Captain Norman Henry is on the right of the picture.
Peter Alliss Masters 2006
The 2006 Peter Alliss Masters tournament was held at Golf House Club, Elie at the start of October. Helsby joined several other golf clubs in presenting children with their powered wheelchairs.

Peter Alliss Sportsperson's Dinner
Peter Alliss was the special guest at the Club's Sportsman's Dinner on 17th July and presented powered wheelchairs to Jemma Howey and Jake Hesp.

25th Wheelchair Classic - 7th June 2007
The club held its 25th Wheelchair Classic on 7th June 2007, raising around £19,000 for the charity. Our very own golden girl of Granada TV, Miss Lucy Meacock, presented five more children with their new powered wheelchairs. To see more, click here

The 24th Wheelchair Classic held in 2006 was another huge success and thanks to everyone's generosity generated a record-breaking £18,500 for the Appeal. Three young boys were presented with specially adapted wheelchairs by John Parrott, ex World Snooker Champion.

Another successful evening was held at the Fortune Palace Delamere on 5th Nov when wheelchairs were presented to Zoya & Mahnoor Salam from Great Sutton.
Black & White - 3 more chairs - 01 Dec 07
The B&W evening was another great success, with powered wheelchairs presented to Rochelle Walsh, Qasin Hussain and Elishia Parks. The Dinner Dance was also super with the balloon artist kept busy raising more funds. More here

The 2006 event saw four more wheelchairs presented and raised £1,480 for the MEGA Charity fund.
236th wheelchair & PC - 3rd March 2007
Rachel Woodward, 9, from Northwich, Cheshire receives her new Powered Wheelchair, the 226th donated by Helsby. Rachel was also given a PC by one of our younger members, Richard Johnson, which made her day as she didn't have one at home.

Pictured left is Steven Bebe, who received his chair on Wednesday 27th February 2008.The presentation was at the Neuro Muscular Centre in Winsford and shows Steven at the reception desk. This is the 243rd wheelchair we have donated to date.
