Honorary member of Helsby Golf Club Peter Alliss and his wife Jackie were special guests at the Sportspersons Dinner tonight.
Our other special guests were Ben Moss aged 10 from Alsager and Adam Edge aged 14 from Macclesfield who were presented with their own chairs from the club's Powered Wheelchair Association.
Following the presentations, members and their guests enjoyed an excellent dinner and highly entertaining talks from both Peter and Andy Hayhurst ex-captain of Somerset County Cricket Club.
Peter then presented the club with a trophy as a thank you for all the effort the club has put into the charity of which he is the patron.
