The ladies of Helsby Golf Club today held their fourth Coffee Morning in aid of The Macmillan Nurses Appeal, raising £830.00.
The Coffee Morning was organised by Mrs Betty Summerfield and Mrs Judy Stewart .Many ladies assisted with the various tasks and it was attended by more than 150 members, both Ladies and Gents making this a most successful event.
The ladies section also held a Golf Competition during the season in aid of this charity which all of our ladies are pleased to support. In addition, fund raising takes place at other events throughout the year and all of the Helsby Ladies are more than happy to support this worthwhile cause which is part of the National Appeal.
